Arlene Herzberg
Arlene Herzberg is a native of the Mankato area. She was raised on a farm and attended both Loyola High School and Mankato State University where she earned a degree in Home Economics and Business. Arlene has been employed by hotel owner Doug Anderson since 1979, and has been General Manager of the BEST WESTERN PLUS in North Mankato since 1999. When asked about working in hospitality, Arlene said, “I love working in the hospitality industry. There’s constant change and always something new to learn.”
Arlene and her husband have been married for 36 years and have two children. The couple enjoys visiting their son who lives in Burlington Vermont. Their daughter lives in Mankato, giving Arlene a chance to spend lots of time with her three grand daughters.
